Zombie-T-Rush gives you a clear destination: the evacuation point at the end of each route. Getting there means fighting through zones that include city blocks, industrial areas, a military base, an underground lab and a graveyard. Barricades hold you back until you clear the area or destroy a nest, while ambushes burst through holes in the walls. Watch the route as well as your aim; the next threat may arrive from a different direction.
Its zombie apocalypse includes runners, crawlers, acid spitters and exploding bloaters. Coins let you buy and upgrade weapons, from an Uzi or shotgun to a flamethrower, rocket launcher or tesla gun. Armor, medkits, grenades and turrets round out your equipment. Generated levels keep getting harder, and every fifth level brings a boss fight. Pick this shooter if you enjoy working through hostile areas while developing an arsenal for later attempts.
Dead Road: Squad shifts your attention to a whole team. Shoot barrels to collect weapons, extra soldiers, healing items and coins. Some barrels provide a jeep, tank or helicopter for a few seconds. Blue gates increase your squad, and red gates reduce it unless you shoot them until they turn positive. Spotting useful targets matters alongside fighting the zombies coming down the road.
The game has six levels, taking you from a city street to a military base, each ending with a boss. Red danger zones mark incoming attacks, giving you a reason to keep moving during the fight. Spend coins on damage, fire rate, health and starting squad upgrades. This is the choice for players who like shooting mixed with collecting reinforcements and equipment as they advance.
Zombie Runner offers a different kind of pressure. Your miner circles a tiny, blocky planet with a zombie close behind, and you control the jumps. Cacti, stones and thorny bushes let the pursuer gain ground if you hit them; block heaps stop you until you jump over them. Hearts, gold ore and meat help restore your lead, while rare TNT knocks the zombie back. The rising speed makes each attempt a test of timing as you chase a better distance record.
On desktop, the two shooters use keyboard movement and mouse aiming; on phones, they use on-screen joysticks. Zombie Runner only needs a click, Space or a tap to jump. Start with the runner for a simple control scheme, or choose a shooter when you want weapon upgrades and boss encounters.
